Mad Hatter's Tea Party

This last Saturday we were able to attend the Mad Hatter's Tea Party at the Walt Disney Family Museum it was a very last minute invite so I did not have time to make us costume

But we still had a great time!!! Lucinda loved having her picture taking with all the people that did dress up!

The Mad Hatter was there too

Out of all the costumes these two are my favorite's, Alice in the White rabbits house and
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

The decoration were prefect

It was fun having the kids try the different tea foods

We love anything Disney , and Alice in Wonderland is one of are favorite movies so we will be back for next years tea party!

Chabot Space and Science Center

We had so much fun visiting cousin Leah at the Chabot Space and Science center! Just about a hour away from home in Okaland.

I was able to get the kids to sit down to see one of the movies "To Be An Astronaut" in the megadome theater I thought was very cool! I was a little worried about Junior being antsy be he did great!

Astronauts foot prints

The kids loved playing in the Mercury capsule and the lunar module!

Both of the kids loved being the pilot and controlling the ship

The musen had a room just for preschool age children, called the Discovery Lab, with a hands-on open lab .

I think Junior played with the marbels almost the whole time in this room.

Lucinda and Leah liked tracing and coloring on the light table. We will differently be back this summer!

Daffodil Hill

This Saturday we made the 2 hour drive toDaffodill Hill in Volcano, California. With 6 acres in daffodils 300 varieties and 500,000 blooms. There was so much to look at.
Ever the little boy, Junior just loved running up and down the hills.

Me, Junior (3), Lucinda (4), Tracy

Lucinda loved looking at all the different flowers, but she had a hard time not picking any. I think her favorite part was buying daffodils at a road side stand on the way home. I love taking my kids place that I went to as a child.
